Something good is going on down at VistaVino in the heart of downtown Castle Rock. Recently, it was awarded the Diner’s Choice Award by OpenTable, an international restaurant reservation and review website. Owners, Michael and Janine Glennon, are no strangers to the Diner’s Choice Award as they have won it before at their other restaurant, Vista at Arrowhead in Edwards, Colorado.

The Diner’s Choice Award is based on the customer’s reviews of the restaurant. This accomplishment is impressive and even more so when you find out that VistaVino is less than a year old. VistaVino has been serving the Castle Rock community since this past spring when the Glennons decided to open it up in the former Uniscali space after spending a good deal of their time in Denver with their son.

“Michael’s food is absolutely amazing and we take pride in our food. We’re very hands-on, and friendly which the locals like because they feel welcomed,” Janine described. Their menu consists of cuisines from all over the world with an added Tuscan flare to make it traditional, yet unique all at the same time. The distinctive taste at VistaVino is one of the many reasons this restaurant is quickly becoming a favorite among locals.

Their emphasis on being friendly people to their customers as well as their motto, “Good Food, Nice People” has made this new venture in Castle Rock an already successful one. With creative cuisines and carefully selected wine choices, VistaVino is a modern restaurant that will impress your taste buds and you’ll leave with new friends. Oh and don’t forget to try their Burrata Cheese for an appetizer and the Bolognese as an entrée, you won’t regret it!
