Starlighting is Presented by the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce. It’s a community event that has been shared by residents since 1935 which includes the “Lighting of the Star,” among many other festivities.
The 2014 Starlighting celebration will include hot chocolate, carriage rides, booths, live entertainment, Santa and more.
In addition to that, the famous and highly enjoyed Rink at the Rock will open for the season. The Rank at the Rock is an outdoor ice skating rink located in the heart of downtown Castle Rock.
According to the Chamber of Commerce website, the Starlighting ceremony will kick off at 5:00 with the lighting of the star around 5:30 pm.
