It was July, 2020. Earlier in the month I took over the Castle Rock Local Business Alliance. My goal was to build the #CRLBA into a reputable ‘Alliance’ of local business owners. Having spent the previous four years as an ‘Accredited Nutritionist’, health and fitness was of great importance to me. I had spent the previous six years in retail management. Activity levels were now changing and so was the continual demand for a healthy mind and body. Having the nutritional background, healthy foods, supplementation, and exercise was something I understood well.
One morning while checking my Facebook notifications, I noticed a friend request from Alex Haack. Upon further investigation I discovered he and his sister Amanda owned and operated the local shop, ‘Castle Rock Nutrition’. I decided to pay a visit and see what it was all about. After reviewing the menu, it became obvious to me that their ‘healthy shakes and teas’ were exactly that; they were ‘Healthy and they were Nutritional’. That day I placed my very first order at the local shop, Castle Rock Nutrition. Soon after, brother and sister Alex and Amanda Haack joined the Castle Rock Local Business Alliance.
Castle Rock Nutrition opened January 1, 2019. Their mission? ‘To provide healthy options and assist Castle Rock residents with healthy lifestyle nutritional choices. Alex and Amanda also help others with their own Herbalife Business Start-ups. Coming from a family business Alex and Amanda chose Castle Rock as their first venture. They cannot imagine living anywhere else.
We cannot forget a certain family member. Everyone who visits the shop falls in love with Jeff, a year and a half old pup, who is a delight and loves to play. He is not lacking in nutritional value with the energy he displays!
When not running the shop, serving up nutritional shakes and teas, and enjoying visits from their many customers, Alex and Amanda enjoy all that Castle Rock and the Colorado Rockies have to offer. Fitness through hiking, lifting, and a balanced healthy life are the examples these two demonstrate daily. Stop in and visit soon, and you will see what I am saying is true!
Oh yeah. Often, when I feel a workout coming on, I stop in and grab one of my favorite ‘Boosted Teas’. After that I am ready to go!
