Dads of Castle Rock (DoCR) is a newer Facebook group put together by Castle Rock residents, Sean Hakes, and Robert Zearing. DoCR has a mission to connect local dads while making a difference throughout the community.
Robert Young, the owner of Robert Author Designs and DoCR member came up with the DoCR tee-shirt idea and jumped right in donating 100% of proceeds on behalf of DoCR to the Castle Rock Police Officers Foundation.
“We’ve all been touched by the loss of current and former officers of the CRPD so I’m glad we could get together to give a little something in recognition of those
DoCR now has an established cornhole league which meets at Astro Tap House every Wednesday night. The DoCR group also coordinates additional ‘dads only’ meetups, activities and more.
