The Epic Adventure Tower is the newest addition at Philip S. Miller Park

Reaching 70 feet into the sky, at it’s highest point, from the ‘Eagle’s Nest’ platform, adventure seekers will get great views from the top of the newly completed ‘Epic Adventure Tower.’ At the end of last month, crews put the finishing touches on the tower; the newest addition to the zip line compound at Philip S. Miller Park.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Along with great views of the park and of Castle Rock, they have also imbedded a 42 feet climbing wall, along with four repelling stations and the world’s first ‘Flight Line’ – a free-fall experience, unlike any other.

As of now, ‘there are still open spots,’ according to the Castle Rock Zip Line Tours information line. However, they do expect a good turn out for the holiday weekend, so reservations are recommended to get a guaranteed place in line.

For residents, we were quoted a fee of $49 dollars (before tax) for 2.5 hours of fun at ‘The Epic.’ That price includes: three free falls, two zip lines and a trip up the colorful rock wall. Sounds like a pretty good deal for activities sure to get your adrenaline pumping!
