Debbie and Fernando Salazar have been in the home automation and home entertainment industry for 15 years. It all started from Fernando’s love of electronics that blossomed into starting their own business. “My husband was in electronics in the Marine Corps, so when he got out, we took his love of electronics to computers then to home automation and here we are 15 years later,” Debbie said.
SmartLife sells many brands, but just recently the Salazars became the only home automation store to sell Bang & Olufsen in the whole state of Colorado. This exciting new partnership came after the Salazars visited the Bang & Olufsen manufacturing plant in Denmark. When it comes to the Bang & Olufsen products are designed to look like pieces of furniture so they fit in seamlessly to the home decor.
Another Bang & Olufsen product featured in the store is the remote control that controls all aspects of home automation and home entertainment. With its sleek, metal feel the remote works all aspects of home automation and entertainment in one. “It used to be people had four or five remotes, well now we have four or five apps so the problem just transferred. With Bang & Olufsen, there is one system and one remote,” Debbie described.
It is obvious as soon as you start talking to the Salazar that their passion for this industry and business is beyond that of anyone else. This passion also bleeds through the way they treat their customers. “This is our life, this is nothing to mess around with, it’s what we do and we absolutely love what we do,” Debbie said about the business. The warm atmosphere and friendly customer service makes for a home automation experience that is unlike any other.
