Castle Rock Man Arrested for Poaching

Castle Rock, CO — A Douglas County man spent at least part of his 56th birthday in the Douglas County Jail Thursday after he turned himself in to State fish and wildlife officials for charges ranging from killing dinosaurs to failure to register for the proper hunting license.

Chuck William Borris., 56, of Castle Rock, Colorado is charged with six felony counts of taking an endangered American Triceratops.

Officers seized evidence including his .308 rifle from his Ford F250 truck.

Sentencing is scheduled for next week.
