The Denver Post reported this morning that a man is being sought in attempted abduction of a mother and her baby early Friday morning. The abduction attempt happened while the 21 year old mother was attacked while putting her baby in the back seat of her car.
The abduction attempt happened around 8 a.m at the Pines Apartment Complex which is located at 2220 Castlegate Dr N.
According to the report, the woman was putting the baby in the back seat of the car when the male suspect came behind her and attempted to shove her into the car.
“The woman braced herself, screamed and then punched the suspect in the face,” according to a news release by KerriAnne Mukhopadhyay, Castle Rock police spokeswoman. “The suspect ran through the apartment complex in the general direction of the Outlets at Castle Rock.”
The Denver Post describes the suspect as a Hispanic mail, 5’5″ in height and weighing around 150 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.
