The Lone Tree Arts Center has announced their full lineup for the 2016 Tunes on the Terrace, a summer event that brings summer sounds, music, and laughter outside to the building’s outdoor terrace theater. Seating 350, the terrace is the only place to be for the best summer atmosphere, and warm season laughs. Friday, June 10 at 8:00 PM – Country Charmer, Kevin MaC
You won’t want to miss the classic country charm of crowd favorite, Kevin MaC. His heart and humor reflect his country roots, while his collaborative spin on hip hop, classic rock and boy band hits are a special surprise that is sure to cater to any member of the audience. Kevin has a variety of his own contemporary country songs and loves to perform what he calls, “Classic Country Jukebox,” tunes by iconic artists like George Jones, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, and Dolly Parton.
Friday, June 24 at 8:00 PM – Big Band Jazz with Ultraphonic Jazz Orchestra
Denver’s own Ultraphonic Jazz Orchestra is a 21-piece jazz band that features the Denver Metro area’s greatest musicians. Now performing for its 15th year, the Ultraphonic Jazz Orchestra is composed of band alumni from Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson, Buddy Rich, Glenn Miller, and Woody Herman. The ensemble performs exciting new music and the most popular tunes from contemporary big band charts.
Saturday, July 9 at 8:00 PM – Comedian Kevin Fitzgerald
Performing for over 20 years as a professional comedian, Kevin Fitzgerald has background stories you have to hear to believe. From being a bouncer with The Rolling Stones and The Who to a 25-year career in veterinary medicine, this “2006 Specialist of the Year in Private Practice,” has a plethora of material and experience to fill your evening with joy and laughter. Whether it’s appearing on Animal Planet’s Emergency Vets, NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw, or The Today Show with Matt Lauer, Fitzgerald is a well-seasoned comic that leaves every audience laughing.

This Boulder-rooted all-vocal rock band is sure to fill the terrace with their infectious energy and passionate love for performing. Internationally acclaimed, and made up of just four vocal singers and a vocal drummer, FACE creates captivating blends of popular modern tunes, with complex harmonies, unbelievable beat-boxing rhythms, and singing that is sure to leave you speechless.
Friday, July 29 at 8:00 PM – Mary Louise Lee Band’s R&B/Soul Dance Party
Combining R&B soulful sounds with contemporary jazz, the Mary Louise Lee Band has tunes that will have every member of the audience dancing the night away. Denver native Mary Louise Lee has built a 20-year professional performing career that has led her to tour both around the nation and around the globe. Opening for acts like Stephanie Mills, Boyz II Men, Jeffrey Osborne, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, the Mary Louise Lee Band will leave you closing the Tunes season, dancing.
