For months now, Castle Rock residents have had many questions about which stores and restaurants will be located at the Promenade at Castle Rock. Residents may have noticed recently that some of the speculation can be put to rest when it comes to what is going in the lot beside McDonalds. Kneaders Bakery and Café will be one of the newest restaurants to open it doors for business in that lot.

Founded in 1997 by Gary and Colleen Worthington, Kneaders Bakery and Café is more than excited to open it’s 6th Colorado location on October 16th at 7:00AM. “This marks our 6th location in the state of Colorado. We are thrilled to expand our mark in the area and offer the residents of Castle Rock fresh-made European hearth bread and a wide variety of healthy menu options,” said James Worthington, CEO of Kneaders Bakery & Café. To make Kneaders’ debut in Castle Rock even grander, the first 100 customers will receive a free meal of French toast, one of Kneaders’ specialties.

Some residents may wonder what makes Kneaders different from other bakery style restaurants in the area. Kneaders measures, mixes, rises and bakes fresh hearth breads directly in the store, meaning no pre-mixed or partially baked products are used. “That amazing bread helps us create mouthwatering sandwiches goes great with our gourmet soups and is the perfect complement to your home-cooked meal. We pay the same determined attention to everything else we make,” describes Kneaders’ Marketing Director, Kelly Conroy.

Baking bread isn’t the only benefit Kneaders will bring to our area. The Operating Partner, Cody Wilson, also says that the store will partner with local charitable organizations to donate day-old bread to those who are less fortunate. The goodwill will not stop there, as they will continually be searching for new opportunities to give back to the community.

The newest Kneaders Bakery and Café will be located at 826 New Memphis Court in Castle Rock. Normal operating hours will be from 7AM-10:00PM. For more information, please visit
