According to Castle Rock’s COMMITTEE REPORT OF CONTRIBUTIONS AND EXPENDITURES, the ‘Committee for Citizens for Elected Mayor’ has attracted big money from execs of one of the Nation’s largest residential developers. M.D.C. Holdings, Inc (Richmond American Homes.)
The Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce recently urged voters to ‘Vote No on the Mayor At-Large Ballot Question.’ Concerns include the increased cost of conducting a town-wide campaign that could allow money to be solicited from outside organizations or special interest groups affecting policy and procedures.
