Castle Rock’s Town Council will hold a meeting in Town Hall today to go over the election recount policy. The appointed Election Commission will be present to go over processes in place and discuss ‘logistics’ for processing recounts.

This meeting is being called to address the two requests for recounts for the August 19, 2014 election. It is the Election Commission’s job to ‘establish procedures’ for Town’s Home Rule Charter elections and how they are run.

All town meetings are open to the public and there will be a time reserved for public comment. The town of Castle Rock broadcasts and records all town meetings, should you not be able to attend.
