Town map of scheduled roadwork

Slurry seal will soon be coming to a Castle Rock street near you. Made from a mixture of oil and fine sand aggregate, slurry seal is set to be applied to local streets- starting this week- in an effort to add 7-8 years of life to our roadways.

Several neighborhoods around town can expect lane closures and traffic delays while crews work to lay a ‘top-coat’ of sorts that will prevent future wear and tear. The scheduled road maintenance will affect The Meadows, the Woodlands, Castle North, Metzler Ranch and Red Hawk residents.

As they work to apply the slurry compound to streets, most commutes should expect delays. Leave extra time when traveling in the neighborhoods mentioned as well as on portions of Red Hawk Drive, Trail Boss, Low Meadows Boulevard and Black Feather Trail.

Approved by council, the maintenance will reduce cost and increase efficiency for travelers around Town. For more information and construction updates/delays go to CRgov.com/PMP.
