The Town Clerk received written requests from the three petition representatives requesting withdrawal of the petition to recall Councilmember Renee Valentine.
“The withdrawal is authorized and in conformance with 15-6 of the Town Charter,” wrote Town Attorney, Bob Slentz. “The withdrawal terminates the recall proceeding and the Town Clerk will be certifying to the County the election ballot in District 5 which will not include the recall question. Today was the last day for that certification.”
